Day 25 - And the waters rose!

 Feel a bit like Moses playing with water right now. Having a heck of a time messing with things to get the feel right but low and behold I am able to have the water move up, then back down as the player scores better! The method even has a bit of momentum!


So the water is working well, just needs fine tuning. 

Next will be updating the UI. My old work just doesn't cut it:


 

It's just unbecoming of what I wanted to do. No wood textures, background is wonky, cannons are shite, and its lacking in detail all around. 

So I will update it, adjust the UI, and make a new Base Level. 

Then the final stage will be making a missing board, having it updating and pulling missions from a randomized field! I think I will keep with a star mechanic for now. For publishing reasons it`ll work well.

As a side note; thank you to all whom gave support to my wife and I. She is still at a hospice facility where I spend most of my day. She's no closer to passing away but she's certainly not going to get better either. Will keep people updated on that, it may disrupt my ability to finish on time.

Right now I`m slating the end of January for a beta publish.
